Gianni & Angela Geata

As a young couple in their early twenties, Gianni & Angela Gaeta followed God’s call to Austria in the late 1980s. Austria is one of the most secular countries in Europe with only a tiny percentage of its nine million residents who would call themselves followers of Jesus. After launching the first church in their living room in the city of Leoben, they later moved to Vienna as a hub for what would be a new movement of churches planted all over the country. Fourteen churches later they are doing anything but slowing down, and are now pushing forward to see a local church launched in each of Austria’s seventy-nine towns.

Central Asia

Anthem is partnering with church planters in Central Asia who are doing pioneering work in one of the most unreached regions of the world. Their mission is to plant a life-giving, Bible-based church in a major city.

Due to the sensitive nature of their work, we are unable to share specific details about their location or ministry.
